Fort HealthCare is a patient-centered hospital and healthcare system serving individuals, businesses and families in Jefferson, Dane, and Walworth Counties, and we are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing team. Shift:Full time, 80 hours per bi-weekly pay period, Day Shift

The Digital Marketing Specialist strategizes and plans, implements and controls all of Fort HealthCare’s social media platforms. This position assists HR in recruiting efforts via social media. This position also assists members of the Marketing department with website and other digital content, including writing and posting multiple monthly blog posts, creating graphics, and more. This position requires multiple skills such as: basic graphic design, social media, communications, and special events photography and videography.

Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Serves as lead marketing representative for all Fort HealthCare social media outlets, including strategy, content (original text, images, and video), and analytics. 
  • Moderate user-generated content and messages appropriately, based on company and community policies. 
  • Create and implement content calendar. 
  • Coordinate and write blogs.
  • Coordinate event promotion on social media, Chamber, and community event calendars, and more. 
  • Coordinate the scheduling of podcast guests, along with corresponding articles and social posts. 
  • Track and analyze analytics reports to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; utilize this information to positively affect future outcomes. 
  • Lead social media paid advertising plan including overseeing budget, creative content, scheduling, and optimization. 
  • Manage clinic digital signage. 
  • Serves as lead marketing representative for additional digital marketing content, including but not limited to, waiting room tvs, screensavers, and branding templates. 
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate promotions and increase reach, including supporting HR in recruiting. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 
  • Completed department-specific orientation and annual competencies for this position.
  • Bachelors Degree required. 
  • 2+ years writing experience. 
  • 2+ years experience in social media, including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram. 
  • Experience using Adobe Suite or Canva required. 
  • Basic video editing experience preferred. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required. 
  • Valid, current Wisconsin driver's license upon hire required.
