About Us:

Since our founding in 1982, NeighborWorks Green Bay has served Green Bay neighborhoods and the broader community with homeownership preparation services, down payment and closing cost assistance lending, community-interest real estate development, and other services. Over the years we have educated and counseled 20,442 aspiring home buyers and existing homeowners and we’ve helped 3,786 families achieve their dream of homeownership. We have renovated or built 466 homes and apartments and developed more than 50,000 square feet of nonprofit office, service, or retail space. In total, since our founding, through real estate development and homeownership services, we have leveraged modest resources into $569 million of investment in our community!

We are a resident-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation and a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO). We are a proud member of the National NeighborWorks Network.

NeighborWorks Green Bay, a 42-year-old housing and community development nonprofit, seeks an energetic development professional to lead our community building, fundraising, and communications team. This director is a member of senior management, leads a team of five, and reports to the President & CEO.

The Resource Development Director will deepen existing and grow new relationships throughout Northeast Wisconsin to fund and support our mission of solving housing challenges and building stronger communities.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about philanthropy and enjoy representing the organization throughout the community. The most competitive candidates will have at least five years in fund development and experience in marketing and communications. Candidates with other professional experience are welcomed but will need to be well-versed in how these skills will translate to nonprofit fundraising, community building, and communications. This position requires a bachelor’s degree and exceptional communication skills in writing and in-person.

The Resource Development Director is a full-time (40 hours/week) position and works primarily day-time hours Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend hours may be required for special events. The initial salary range is $70,000 – $80,000, commensurate with relevant experience, and includes a generous benefits package.
