Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer will develop various types of on-brand creative content for Alma marketing collateral using Adobe Creative Suite depending on the medium and goals of the final project. Creating on-brand graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs, such as packaging, displays, logos, or imagery for print and digital uses including banner ads, social media posts, website graphics, magazine advertorials, etc.

This position is on-site. We are looking for highly motivated and creative minded graphic design professionals to come join the amazing team here at Alma Lasers!

Essential Functions:

• Graphic Design using Adobe products for both print and digital spaces 
• Use a variety of mediums to achieve artistic or decorative effects 
• Make creative decisions on layout and text while maintaining brand continuity keep up to date with the latest software, trends, and computer technologies. 
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles. (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects, Bridge, and Acrobat) 
• Knowledge of Typography

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field of study 
• 3+ years of experience in a graphic design focused role

Skills Required:

• Meticulous layout and typography skills required 
• Proven ability to edit video (preferably in Adobe Premier Pro and/or After Effects) 
• Knowledge and understanding of Agile Methodologies for Project Management 
• Positive attitude and approach to the job responsibilities and the Alma team 
• Microsoft Applications (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) 
• Adobe Creative Suite(Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects, Bridge, and Acrobat) 
• Excellent organizational skills 
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
