RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in creating basic statistic regression models / trend analysis of external drivers, economic indicators, etc. impacting the General Industrial business 
  • Help communicate internal data stories and key insights using “big data” 
  • Add to current monthly marketing structure analysis and recommend future KPI tracking metrics 
  • Assist in documentation of critical monthly marketing structure reporting and sales dashboard tool updates 
  • Support industry and competitive research initiatives; includes market overview work for key GI marketing segments and competitive intelligence profiles

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Summer 2024 Internship, ~mid-May through early August 
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite experience Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated leadership by involvement in extracurricular activities on campus, in the community, or through part-time jobs. 
  • Positive leadership, willingness to work on a team, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. 
  • Passion for technology, early adopter, and user of modern tech 
  • Data analytics background experience; SAS or Tableau software exposure

EDUCATION:

Required:

  • Must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Good Organization skills, with strong attention to detail 
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines without compromising the quality of work
