Position Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator with an outgoing personality to help us with our overall marketing efforts. Reporting to the Director, Marketing & Communications, the Marketing Coordinator will be an integral part of the development and execution of the overall marketing strategy. This individual will participate in the planning, building and implementation of traditional and digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels and platforms using organic search campaigns, email marketing, social media, website analytics, and other channels to increase awareness of our products and services

Responsibilities:

  • Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns and execute on those campaigns 
  • Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by participating in various areas of content development and optimization, promotion, events planning, etc. 
  • Write marketing copy for email campaigns, LinkedIn posts, web pages, blog posts, case studies, etc. 
  • Conduct market research to learn about business requirements, habits and trends 
  • Assist with tradeshow organization and tasks 
  • Work closely with Business Development Representative to provide marketing materials that support the sales journey 
  • Support and align brand awareness and maintain brand standards in all product support materials and communications
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to develop marketing materials as directed 
  • Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns 
  • Provide marketing support to Sales and Customer Success departments as directed 
  • Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, e-mails, websites, etc.) 
  • Manage webinars and support company events as needed 
  • Update spreadsheets and databases with marketing collateral and analytics 
  • Update and manage content on company web site; manage and update marketing PowerPoints 
  • Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies 
  • Undertake individual tasks and other marketing-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree, or BS/BA in marketing, mass communications or equivalent. Will consider degree in education or journalism. 
  • Experience working or interning as a marketing assistant, marketing coordinator or in a similar marketing role 
  • Knowledge or experience with CRM (Salesforce) a plus 
  • Proven persuasive writing skills; demonstrable ability to write copy. Request candidates provide a creative PPT example and unique social media layout 
  • Understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO / social media, etc.) and market research methods 
  • Demonstrated experience with some form of email marketing platform like MailChimp / HubSpot / Pardot / Constant Contact 
  • A basic understanding of AI and ChatGPT a plus 
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office suite experience required 
  • Experience with WordPress or other CMS is required 
  • AdWords / PPC experience a plus 
  • Graphics or Adobe Creative Cloud experience is required
  •  Video editing or digital photography skills or knowledge is a bonus 
  • SharePoint experience or knowledge a plus 
  • Exceptional communication skills are required 
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment or software product line a plus 
  • Well-organized and detail oriented 
  • A self-starter with and eagerness and willingness to learn 
  • Demonstrate ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
