The Marketing Services manager plays pivotal role in the successful planning, coordination, and execution of events, as well as managing vital projects and systems to support our marketing programs. This includes project coordination and supporting different areas of the team and company, as well as supporting marketing requests that arise cross-functionally. This individual demonstrates success and thrives in cross-functional stakeholder management and has strong, concise communication skills to ensure a project or event runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with exceptional organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Event Management (75%):

  • Manage and coordinate key events, ranging from tradeshows to dealer events and internal sales meetings. 
  • Develop project timelines, secure budgets, and align resources/teams 
  • Arrange and oversee event logistics, including transportation, catering, audio-visual equipment, print production, promotion items and other project related details. 
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and address potential issues or challenges that may arise during planning and execution. 
  • Post-Event Evaluation: Assist in post-project evaluation and reporting to analyze the success and identify areas for improvement.

Project Coordination (25%):

  • Accept and coordinate literature and project requests from sales and other teams. 
  • Facilitate copy and creative updates through global marketing services, managing the tickets and communication to complete projects. (i.e. price book updates, literature edits, etc.) 
  • Support the marketing leadership team in maintaining project schedules and budgets within the region and between global marketing

Supporting responsibilities include:

  • Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. 
  • Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with vendors, and internal teams to ensure all parties are informed and aligned throughout the planning process.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all project information, contracts, invoicing, and communications.
  • Special Projects: Undertake special projects or tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management, contributing to the achievement of organizational goals

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (preferred).

EXPERIENCE:

  • 7+ years of marketing, communications, and public relations experience

KNOWLEDGE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

  • Proven experience in event planning and coordination. 
  • Proven experience in print/promotional online portal management. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 
  • Ability to learn quickly, work effectively under pressure and meet tight timelines. 
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, a must.
