ECP attends 50+ tradeshows and industry events per year. We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our team to help with trade show coordination. In this role, you will be responsible for researching, organizing, managing, and identifying which industry-specific associations we will be a part of to promote our company. You will play a vital role in ensuring seamless execution and maximize our opportunities to enhance our brand visibility and drive lead generation efforts.

This position is perfect for an individual who has a detail-oriented mindset, strong project management capabilities, and exceptional communication skills. The role requires the ability to foster relationships within internal teams and external associations.

Our headquarters is near Milwaukee, WI, but we are open to remote candidates across the US.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our marketing and sales teams to generate leads and grow our brand 
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute our company's participation in trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and other industry events 
  • Conduct thorough research to identify relevant trade shows and events that align with our target market and business objectives 
  • Coordinate logistics for each event, including booth design, signage, promotional materials, day of agenda, shipping of necessary equipment, etc. 
  • Manage event budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors, and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented. 
  • Drive lead generation efforts by coordinating pre-show and post-show marketing campaigns, including email campaigns, social media promotions, and targeted outreach. 
  • Collaborate with industry contacts and associations to maximize the opportunities that are presented to build our brand 
  • Organize swag, set-up and delivery of all required materials for events 
  • Develop and facilitate content creation to present at trade shows and events; speaking engagements, round tables, panels, etc. 
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to develop event strategies, objectives, and key messages to effectively represent our company and offerings. 
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to measure success, gather feedback, and make recommendations for improvement. 
  • Maintain an up-to-date calendar of upcoming trade shows and events, ensuring timely registration and submission of required materials. 
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the event marketing landscape. 
  • Provide general marketing, sales, or operations administrative support as needed

Requirements:

  • Exceptional written communication skills 
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or related field 
  • 2+ years work experience in marketing 
  • Ability to handle tight deadlines 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work independently 
  • Confident and reliable individual 
  • A keen eye for details
