Account Supervisor Reports to Account Director.

As an Account Supervisor, you will lead marketing communications planning within the agency and champion work that transforms behaviors, people or even entire communities. Your ability to nurture relationships and grow the next generation of account management should be second to none.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of client businesses, industries and strategic direction 
  • Lead the strategic development of marketing and communications plans to grow the clients’ business 
  • Provide high-level, ongoing communications consulting to solve client problems 
  • Build and nurture ongoing relationships with senior-level clients 
  • Supervise, train, motivate and provide opportunities to account personnel to assure a high level of performance on behalf of clients 
  • Maintain a sense of teamwork and collaboration 
  • Play an active role in organic growth opportunities and help lead new business opportunities 
  • Enhance the visibility and reputation of Exponent among industry thought leaders, prospective clients and prospective employees

Required Skills:

  • Ability to effectively and confidently persuade, present and champion recommendations to senior executives and groups 
  • Ability to anticipate and address problems/challenges 
  • Strong managerial, coaching and mentoring skills 
  • Demonstrated understanding of best practices in public relations, including media relations, influencer marketing, content development and social media engagement 
  • Superior interpersonal skills 
  • Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment 
  • Specific title is based on the level of strategic and creative rigor, supervisory skills, client team accomplishments, professional experience and revenue growth
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience 
  • 10 or more years of agency or relevant experience (multi-faceted, multi-million gross income accounts) 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook 
  • Ability to travel as needed
