Roles and Responsibilities:

  • With a passionate understanding of and commitment to Wide Open Thinking, the AAE will support the Account Executive / Account Supervisor through their assigned accounts to meet the corporate targets. 
  • Supports and participates in all client meetings and creates and distributes action reports Supports the development of communications platforms for all projects for assigned client(s) 
  • Meet efficiency targets, typically by billing a minimum of 1600 hours annually to client projects. 
  • Ensures that internal project communication procedures are followed 
  • Supports Account Executive / Account Supervisor in client strategic planning process 
  • Supports periodic client reviews 
  • Support the annual account planning and client development strategy 
  • Supports new business initiatives within client account(s) 
  • Supports new business development activity within organization when needed 
  • Other duties as assigned to support and execute on client projects

  • Ability to work effectively within an environment of ambiguity (matrix organization) 
  • High level of skill in all Microsoft software with an emphasis on PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel 
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to develop knowledge on key industry issues

Education and Experience:

  • B.S. in Ag business, marketing, journalism, communications and/or related field is required
  • 1 - 3 years’ experience working in a public relations/marketing communications capacity 
  • Experience with agriculture preferred
