We are seeking a Communications Manager who will manage functions to create identity positioning and awareness including: web, email, packaging, literature, advertising, digital, social POP, mail, radio and public relations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage all communication functions including: web, email, packaging, literature, advertising, digital, social, POP, mail, radio, public relations.
  • Content lead: Create and oversee content for digital, social, web, print, POS, and other outbound touch points. Act as content team lead.
  • Develop and oversee key messages including voice and tonality, ensuring consistency across all impression/touch points for the organization and its distribution/retail partners.
  • Develop leader sku direction for packaging with input from Brand Manager and Product Manager.
  • Create and maintain a product key points database to be used as the reference for all key messages, benefits, features, users, applications.
  • Collaborate with Channel Marketing on defining and implementing commercialization plans for product launches. Elements include advertising, promotions, PR, user experience, events
  • Manage and develop 1 direct report: Communications Specialist
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • BS degree in communications, marketing, business related discipline; or work experience equivalent.

Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years customer marketing environment experience 
  • Exceptional communication skills 
  • Prior experience in leading teams and direct reports. 
  • Product Marketing experience a plus. 
  • Logical thinker with strong analytical skills 
  • Microsoft Office suite experience 
  • Results-oriented
