The Community Engagement Manager will lead all aspects of member and provider relations, and the planning and staffing of The Connective events. General responsibilities include leading the efforts to recruit and retain members, engaging volunteers, and building and strengthening community partnerships. Additionally, the Director will organize and staff a variety of The Connective events. This position serves as support to The Connective leadership and requires excellent multi-tasking and communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This is an hourly position and compensation is commensurate with experience. This position is part-time, between 20 hours a week, with potential for growth. The work schedule is flexible depending on organizational and employee needs; however, consistency and reliability are required for this job.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement new member and provider outreach campaigns continuing to grow membership to reach organizational growth goals
  • Assist leadership with securing sponsorships 
  • Create new and update existing promotional materials including the management of all social media marketing, flyers, slides, etc. 
  • Responsible for the planning, development and distribution of all member and provider communication
  • Management and upkeep of our membership and provider database, records and memberships
  • Continue to work to improve membership experience for current members 
  • Plan and execute events and meetings 
  • Build relationships with the Northeast WI business community 
  • Onsite presence as greeter and resource for community at The Connective

Qualifications:

  • Interest in and knowledge of women in business, nonprofit management, business, event planning, marketing and/or communications 
  • Business development experience 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Google Docs preferred 
  • Ability to manage Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social platforms 
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to think creatively and analytically 
  • Strong interpersonal skills must be comfortable on the phone, presenting in group settings and interacting with the public 
  • Organized, dependable and detail oriented 
  • Able to work well independently and as part of a team 
  • Skills in graphic and/or website design desired 
  • Must be committed to excellent customer service and the vision and values of The Connective
