The Corporate Communications Specialist is primarily responsible for helping build and promote the company’s brand — both internally and externally. They will work in partnership with the rest of the marketing team, and coordinate with subject matter experts and leaders across the organization to create communications and support strategic initiatives that connect and inspire key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a proficient storyteller with a passion for creating engaging content.

The role will sit in Plymouth, MN with a flexible hybrid schedule.

A Day in the Life:

  • Work with the communications team to create and implement a strategy that aligns external and employee communications with the company’s mission, vision, values and brand positioning.
  • Gain and maintain a deep understanding of our company’s branding, style, policies and processes. 
  • Coordinate cross-functional campaigns, and external and employee communications projects with relevant departments in the business. 
  • Research industry trends and interview subject matter experts for thought leadership initiatives. 
  • Develop content in a variety of print and digital formats, including news releases, blog posts, articles, and internal news and announcements. 
  • Copyedit, proofread and revise communications. 
  • Coordinate distribution of messages and content through multiple channels, and help maintain the company intranet that houses all internal communications. 
  • Work with and manage outside agencies to handle media inquiries, arrange interviews, etc. 
  • Manage relationships with partner companies and industry associations to maximize visibility for the organization. 
  • Build strong connections with journalists, influencers and other stakeholders.

What you will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing or related.
  • 3+ years of communication, content marketing, business marketing, business writing experience

Preferred:

  • 5+ years' experience in B2B marketing and corporate communications
