The CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE reports directly to the Customer Service Administrator. He/she will be responsible for managing the Milwaukee Ballet’s front desk and reception. This is a part-time, non-exempt position.

CUSTOMER SERVICE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet and direct visitors, students and families of the Milwaukee Ballet School & Academy as necessary 
  • Act as first point of contact for resolving customer enquiries for all areas of Milwaukee Ballet including School & Academy, Community Engagement, Marketing, etc 
  • Answer Milwaukee Ballet’s general customer service line. Assist callers and direct calls accordingly 
  • Monitor the front door 
  • Direct people accordingly throughout the building 
  • Open the building at the start of the day and lock it at the end of the day, when first or last person on the desk schedule 

ADMINISTRATIVE JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Responsible for managing inventory and ordering office supplies across the organization 
  • Maintain company schedules/ calendar and digital screen displays 
  • Primary onsite meeting contact and support 
  • Coordinate on-site meeting needs in cooperation with various departments 
  • Data entry/management across various platforms 
  • Projects as needed for all departments, including Development, Marketing and MBSA 
  • Sort incoming mail 
  • Coordinates studio rentals 
  • Coordinate ‘lost and found’ items for MBSA and other guests

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent 
  • Exceptional customer service and organizational skills 
  • Able to present oneself in a positive and professional way 
  • 18-years or older 
  • Trustworthy and able to work independently 
  • Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office 
  • Ability to speak Spanish 
  • Work hours: Monday- Friday 3:30 p.m.- 9:30 p.m., potentially Saturdays 8:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.
