The Digital Content Manager is responsible for continually improving the customer experience on Rishi’s ecommerce websites (B2C retail and B2B wholesale). The Digital Content Manager is expected to draw on core ecommerce performance metrics to inform strategic changes to the user experience. He/She is responsible to gather and evaluate site performance data from a variety of sources including Google Analytics, third party service providers, and in-house reporting. His/Her analysis of these data is to be presented to the Marketing Director regularly (see Deliverables) to affect decisions regarding new product promotion, site and social content publication, and overall online merchandising. The Digital Content Manager plays the leading role in planning, coordinating, and publishing creative content for Rishi’s websites and social media platforms. He/She is expected to take strategic insights from the site performance analyses described above, and use them to stimulate dialogue among Rishi content generators to ensure that creative direction aligns with compelling business opportunities. The Digital Content Manager is a member of the Brand Marketing team, which has a mandate to establish Rishi as the indisputable leader and vanguard of innovation in the global tea industry. By effectively coordinating and publishing creative content, the Digital Content Manager will support the growth of sales via Rishi’s B2C retail ecommerce site, as well as through Rishi’s B2B ecommerce site and other wholesale sales channels.
