Job Summary:

We’re looking for someone who is skilled in all things digital and social, including advertising, website and email. To be successful, the ideal candidate should have strong conceptual design skills, can quickly turn around finished assets while maintaining an exceptional eye for detail and balance creativity with business objectives. You must be able to roll with campaign changes as they happen, be a strong critical thinker, self-starter, organized, resourceful and passionate about driving results.

This is a remote work position with the opportunity to work in our collaborative office space for local candidates.

As a Digital Design Specialist, you will…

  • Report to the Digital & Brand Experience Manager and collaborate with internal departments and external resources to develop the company’s visual messaging, while adhering to brand standards, strategy and image
  • Create assets/projects including but not limited to social media graphics, display ads, webpage layouts, landing pages, emails, motion graphics, paid campaigns, etc.
  • Be able to simultaneously handle multiple deliverables from quick-burn projects to long-term campaigns with multiple assets, ensuring meticulous file maintenance
  • Stay on top of digital design trends and web best practices to continually test and innovate
  • Work independently, demonstrate resourcefulness and problem solve to overcome business and design challenges
  • Represent and reflect CUS values

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong resume and portfolio of design work, showing solutions to business problems through effective design
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Marketing or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and 3+ years of digitally focused graphic design experience
  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe creative suite
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote
  • Experience working with website CMS systems and a technical understanding of HTML, CSS, and best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with video, motion graphics and knowledge of Premiere Pro and Vimeo
  • Experience working with Drupal, HubSpot, Salesforce and/or other digital marketing and automation platforms
  • Experience with corporate social media campaigns and engagement on LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook
  • Open to learning and development opportunities in these areas
