Gumas Advertising, an award winning branding, advertising and digital marketing agency is seeking a DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER to join our team!

The DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER is responsible for developing and implementing all digital marketing strategies for our clients and working daily to ensure these programs are generating the expected results. In this position, you will be responsible for all things digital. From developing digital marketing strategies for a host of diverse clients, to implementing (or managing partners) SEO, PPC, Retargeting, Social Media, GMB and all things in between, to analyzing the results through Google analytics; this position is ideal for a well-rounded digital specialist looking to up their game. We are open to you working remotely or at our offices in San Francisco. We’re pretty flexible! 

What does a day in the life of a DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER at Gumas look like? It goes a little something like this:

  • Plan and develop overall digital marketing strategies for agency clients focused on driving measurable results.
  • Monitor and analyze performance across all digital channels to track engagement and make recommendations to enhance results.
  • Develop and decipher Google Analytics reports and explain them, in detail, to clients.
  • Supervise all agency interactive services and partners. 

Here’s a summary:

Strategy Development:

  • Can create an overall digital strategy using SEO, social media and GMB as focus is mandatory. 
  • Understanding of PPC a real plus.


  • Identify keywords to target
  • Optimize the content for search
  • Report on the results
  • Understand content development
  • Make adjustments to the findings to improve results


  • Facebook, Instagram & LinkedIn
  • Understands how to find & create content
  • Optimize the content for search
  • Report on the results
  • Make adjustments to the findings to improve results

Google My Business (GMB):

  • Have good working knowledge & implementation of GMB Retargeting
  • Strong understanding of GMB and how to implement


  • Must have ability to develop detailed Google reports
  • Must be able to decipher these reports and make improvements on campaigns
  • Must be comfortable presenting results to clients

The ideal candidate for this position will:

  • Have a deep understanding (and passion) of digital marketing, social media platforms and community building.
  • Be able to balance multiple and varied tasks, accounts, and digital responsibilities with grace, efficiency, and (most importantly) genuine enthusiasm.
  • Must have proven working experience with SEO, PPC, Social Media, GMB, retargeting and all popular digital platforms, and a hands-on attitude to get things done and drive results for our clients.
  • Be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, as well as confidently stand by their ideas and decisions.
  • Be a team player with a willingness to immerse themselves in our clients’ brands.
  • Be curious and willing to take things apart in order to analyze how they work and how they can be made better.

Required Skills:

  • A constant student of Digital Marketing and surrounding industries.
  • Professional, detail-oriented, self-motivated.
  • Proficiency and certification in Google Analytics.
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expert level knowledge of SEO, Social, PPC, and GMB.
  • Be committed to attacking each day with tremendous positivity and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to quickly develop a working understanding of a client’s business, the challenges they face, then blend into an integrated digital approach that meets client business goals.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, e Commerce, or related field. 
  • A proven, 4+ year track record in digital marketing strategy and execution. 
  • A proven, 4+ year track record of successfully completing multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment. 
  • Experience developing and executing SEO, PPC, Social Media, and Online marketing campaign strategies. 
  • Experience in Competitive Analysis, Customer InsightandIntegrated Marketing.
