Essential Functions and Accountabilities:
Digital Content Management - Planning, Project Management, Coordination
- Assists the Director of Marketing and VP of Marketing with the creation of the digital content strategy based on the marketing planning calendar.
- Gathers requirements & submits creative briefs for all email, text, and social media marketing campaigns.
- Works with the merchandise planning team to understand promotions, product availability, etc.
- Creates & tracks the progress of the brief / proofing process using project management tools.
- Completes setup and deploys email, text, and social media campaigns, as well as monitors/resolves any QA issues.
- Works cross-functionally to support various teams with specific customer communication.
- Works with internal and external resources on the creation of campaign copywriting, headlines, subject lines, and A/B testing plans to improve email open and click through rates.
- Assist with the creation and coordination of weekly and monthly reporting on the above initiatives.
Digital Asset Management - Planning, Execution, Delivery
- Serve as point of contact / lead coordinator of all digital media assets
- Coordinates the creation of digital content and creative assets across digital platforms in partnership with internal and external creative resources
- Distributes approved digital content and creative assets to internal and external partners
- Helps improve the quality of our digital content by creating / maintaining benchmarks, specifications guide, and/or best practices
- Ensures assets are developed for corporate and local franchise usage and tagged appropriately
- Tracks content development budgets / agencies
- Assists the Director of Marketing and the Ecommerce and creative teams in planning and executing campaign landing pages on Slumberland.com
Social Media Management -- Planning, Strategy, Execution
- Coordinates with the Slumberland digital & creative teams to develop social media content that drives social engagement, community growth, and traffic & sales to Slumberland.com and Slumberland Furniture Stores.
- Coordinates the social content approval process from creation to final approval.
- Plans and executes social media posts in accordance with Slumberland's social media voice, content pillars, promotions, data/insights, and financial goals.
- Makes real-time content recommendations for trending topics.
- Assists the Director of Marketing on content for key activations, promotions, and sponsorships.
- Assists the Director of Marketing in planning of paid social media campaigns across platforms to drive engagement, traffic & sales.
- Assists Slumberland's customer service team to solve issues that are reported via social media channels.
Marketing Campaign Support
- Helps drive curiosity and adds to the culture of collaboration as we move Slumberland toward further digital transformation.
- Assists the broader marketing team with additional support tasks as needed
