Digital Marketing Specialist

Position Summary

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for assisting Digital Marketing Strategist to achieve client strategic brand and business objective. This role will also contribute to integration of cross-functional teams and ensuring seamless delivery of all work to specific business unit.

In this role you will:

Digital marketing strategies (80%)

  • Support Digital Marketing Strategist in creating, executing, and coordinating marketing plans using necessary tools (website, email, social media, and blogs).
  • Develop content strategies to support social media initiatives.
  • Research products, services, and current tactics to identify new opportunities.
  • Analyze web traffic metrics for all marketing mediums and suggest solutions to boost web presence.
  • Create web analytics reports to support specific business units.Assist Digital Marketing Strategist in execution of paid and organic search campaigns.
  • Keep up-to-date with audience preferences and proactively suggest new campaigns.Identify advertising needs.
  • Establish best practices in digital marketing.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital technologies developments.

Administrative (20%)

  • Lead kick-off meetings and work with peers to ensure positive outcomes.
  • Manage digital marketing requests from sales and other departments for refresh, redesign, or development of marketing collateral, applications, or forms to support specific initiatives.
  • Review and improve established project processes and platforms to track project deliverables, obtain appropriate approvals, and maintain timelines.
  • Review and proof marketing materials.
  • Analyze marketing data and team project metrics.

You should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field OR equivalent post high school education and/or work-related experience
  • 2 or moreyears of proven work experience in Digital Marketing, including 1 or moreyear insurance industry marketing/advertising environment or related field

In addition, we prefer:

  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and Google Data Studio
  • CMS platform awareness and understanding
  • Familiarity with UX and UI for websites
  • Understanding of how to monitor and respond to customers on social media platforms
  • Ability to create and develop a strong content strategy
  • Basic knowledge of HTML
