Digital Media Buyer

We are seeking an entry-level Digital Media Buyer to join our team, focused on delivering strategic campaign solutions and exceptional service that have fueled our growth and results for clients.

Our ideal candidate thrives on data, possessing a detailed-oriented mindset to best execute strategic digital campaigns and manage reporting on industry-leading programmatic platforms. You must be comfortable working with a small, diverse team in the Milwaukee area who believe collaboration is the key to driving outcomes for our regional and national clients in a positive and rewarding work environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute and evaluate complex digital campaigns across various media channels on leading programmatic platforms 
  • Manage targeting, budgets, pacing and other parameters to optimize performance and successfully deliver against client KPIs 
  • Generate detailed and accurate reports on routine campaign performance, plus quarterly/annual business reviews 
  • Communicate with other team members including account managers and creative services on the status and performance of client campaigns 
  • Review media proposals and make strategic recommendations for data solutions, targeting strategies, flighting and other campaign optimizations based on client goals and objectives
  • Analyze campaign data and media trends to produce clear, compelling insights for clients and Gigawatt’s thought leadership initiatives 
  • Evaluate and manage vendor relationships to maximize inventory opportunities and enhance the products and solutions Gigawatt can offer to clients 
  • Engage in training and professional development opportunities with the Gigawatt team
  • 0-3 years experience or degree in digital media buying, research, marketing analytics or similar role; college students or recent grads with analytical talent welcome 
  • Proficient in Excel plus other Microsoft Office/Google Suite programs 
  • Foundational knowledge of digital media channels, research tools, and/or reporting dashboards a plus (e.g. Google/FB Ads, DSP/DMP platforms, Comscore, etc.) 
  • Ability to manage and analyze complex data sets to distill into key insights 
  • Exceptional attention to detail 
  • Able to prioritize tasks to meet firm deadlines 
  • Comfortable working across multiple platforms and data systems 
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills 
  • Ability to work well independently and collaborate as a team plus proactive be about communication with managers 
  • Willingness to learn and enhance skills; passionate about the media and marketing industry
