Calling all Magento wizards and wizard wannabes!

Responsible for coordinating over 250,000 SKUs and having a direct hand in over 80% of our orders is not a task for the faint of heart. That's where you and your impressive experience come in. Demco is currently accepting resumes for our Digital Merchandising Specialist position and we want to hear from you!

As our Digital Merchandising Specialist, you'll work closely within our dynamic digital team and will focus your efforts on:

  • Managing product presentation, categorization and promotion across all Demco websites and digital marketing channels
  • Leading efforts to define online merchandising strategies and coordinating teams to implement those strategies
  • Coordinating campaigns and programs that are crucial to driving revenue, building brand awareness and increasing customer engagement
  • Becoming the subject matter expert for merchandising, site management and ecommerce analytics
  • Maintaining, updating and advancing digital merchandising processes and documentation

Qualified candidates will have a 4-year degree or equivalent work experience, along with at least 3 years of experience in internet merchandising, product management or marketing. Successful candidates will also:

  • Be highly proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, in particular)
  • Be comfortable learning new systems and tools
  • Have excellent analytical, reasoning and business math skills
  • Have strong time management skills and be able to prioritize and multitask
  • Be a clear and concise communicator that can effectively manage expectations of a growing channel
  • Be able to work both collaboratively and independently with little direction as needed

Knowledge of Magento, other ecommerce platforms, HTML and database hierarchy is helpful, but not required.  Familiarity with education or library markets is a plus.
