Position Details

Director, Business Development & Marketing

The core responsibility of this role will be driving new client growth for the organization and will own identifying, qualifying, and developing strategic client relationships with a focus on selling our core offerings.

You will oversee business development initiatives from the opportunity lead qualification phase all the way through the contract phase with a focus on net-new client creation. You will work closely with the management team to develop strategy, proposals and to maintain communications with prospective clients.

You will lead the marketing team to identify new marketing opportunities, such as new ideas for marketing, online advertising, direct marketing, web presence, publications, and product offerings.

Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Collaborating with the management team to establish and aggressively pursue new business goals. 
  • Oversee the marketing team and building a strategic marketing plan for the company.
  • Representing company at industry events in order to create new connections. 
  • Once a qualified lead is ready to engage, managing the process and producing key sales materials such as capabilities decks, RFP responses, pitches, etc. 
  • Cultivate both professional and informal networks that lead to potential opportunities.
  • Research, nurture and qualify prospective clients. 
  • Manage net-new opportunity pipeline and report on sales activity and sales goals. 
  • Lead and/or direct cross-functional teams through the business development lifecycle.
  • Identifies client pain points, propose solutions, and gives prospects the confidence that F92 can solve their problem-a consultative sales approach. 
  • Follows up with leads generated through speaking engagements, conferences, F92’s website, and social media using a multi-effort nurturing process. 
  • Understand where a prospect is within their customer journey and leverage strategies necessary to engage with them. 
  • Accurately assesses resources available to determine scope and duration of new business opportunities. 
  • Conduct and manage competitive analysis to assess the company’s market position and then develop recommendations for strategies and tactics based on that analysis.

  • Have advanced knowledge of full-service, integrated advertising solution offerings, including strategy, creative, media, and digital.
