Hot Dish Advertising is currently looking for a full-time Front End Developer to join our team and expand our capabilities as our clients’ businesses evolve in the digital sphere. Qualified candidates should have strong communications skills, a collaborative work style, a strategic mindset, and an enthusiasm for learning new things.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain websites, digital marketing materials, and more. 
  • Provide input on designs, concepts, and project plans. 
  • Produce accurate functional renditions of provided designs and wireframes. 
  • Collaborate with a team on UX planning and design. 
  • Develop clean, reusable, accessible, and standards compliant front end code. 
  • Test and troubleshoot work for high-quality, error-free results. 
  • Estimate timelines and meet deadlines. 
  • Communicate clearly with coworkers and clients, in both written and verbal forms. 
  • Always be on the lookout for new ideas to bring to the table. 
  • Maintain a flexible and positive mindset.

Technical:

  • HTML, CSS; SASS or LESS a bonus. 
  • Familiarity with Javascript, jQuery, AJAX. 
  • Some familiarity with LAMP stack and basic programming. 
  • Experience working with APIs and/or WordPress plugins a plus 
  • Knowledge of common cross-browser issues and how to deal with them. 
  • Familiarity with Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar. 
  • Familiarity with code versioning a plus 
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe products like Photoshop, Illustrator. Adobe After Effects or Audition knowledge a plus.
