Graphic Designer

Sortis Digital Marketing, an established digital marketing agency located in Madison, Wisconsin, is seeking a part-time graphic designer who is detail-oriented, creative, and reliable. The ideal candidate will be able to brainstorm original concepts for marketing materials that match the client’s Brand, project goals and timelines. This position requires someone with fresh, powerful ideas and the ability to execute these ideas on a strict timeline. Content must drive leads/sales for a variety of clients, so an understanding of many advertising types, formats, and audiences is a plus.

Create print and online marketing materials, including, but not limited to:

• Website design
• Social media images
• Infographics
• Email template design
• Display/Banner ads
• Logo creation/design
• Print Ads
• Flyers

This is an independent contract position. A minimum commitment of approximately 24 hours per week is required AT THE SORTIS OFFICE in Madison. Work schedule is flexible between the office hours of 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Thursday, and 9:00am – noon on Fridays.

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design, Communication, Art, Computer Graphics, or similar design discipline
• Experience with the following programs: Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects and the Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong work ethic with an attention to detail and time management skills a must
• Portfolio of work to present during interview

As a part-time, hourly, independent contractor, benefits are not available for this postion at this time.
