Position Description:

You will be reporting to the design group manager and will be responsible for engaging, highly usable, and intuitive UX/UI creation for mobile, web, & email.

Design Program Knowledge:

  • HTML 5 
  • InVision 
  • CSS 
  • Google Material Design 
  • Illustrator (good working knowledge) 
  • Photoshop (good working knowledge) 
  • InDesign (basic working knowledge preferred) 
  • Acrobat (basic working knowledge) 
  • Office (good working knowledge) 
  • Marketing Cloud (basic working knowledge helpful, but not required) 
  • Other relevant design tools

Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Excellent understanding of intuitive UX/UI design, engaging interactions and motivational design for mobile, web, & email. 
  • Strong graphic design skills, with a good understanding of typography, intuitive layouts, palate development, and what visually motivates people. 
  • Strong ability to visualize project needs, predict user interaction, and incorporate that into designs. 
  • Fast worker who can easily adapt in a rapidly changing environment and deliver quality results in tight timelines. 
  • Self-motivated team player with a high attention to detail. 
  • Friendly and approachable with an ability to listen to direction but also capable of working with little information sometimes. 
  • Can work across multiple projects and brands while keeping unique brand clarity and consistency. 
  • Open to thinking untraditionally and continually staying abreast of UX trends to seek out creative ideas and inspiration. 
  • Work ethic of quiet competence and evidence-based design, not award-driven. 
  • Can translate verbal ideas into visual reality. 
  • Good understanding of Apple’s human interface design guidelines, Android design and other mobile platform designs, including Google’s material design. 
  • Good communicator who can convey needs well in meetings. 
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the design process.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree 
  • 2 or more years' of post-graduate Graphic Design experience 
  • 2 or more years’ of post-graduate UX/UI experience 
  • 2 or more years’ of post-graduate experience working with design tools – Invision, Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop 
  • 2 or more years’ of post-graduate experience using Google Material design 
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite: word, excel, PowerPoint, access

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 5 or more years' of post-graduate Graphic Design experience
  • 5 or more years’ of post-graduate UX/UI experience
  • 5 or more years’ of post-graduate experience working with design tools – Invision, Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop 5 or more years’ of post-graduate experience using Google Material design
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite: word, excel, PowerPoint, access

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent communications skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • 1+ years print design experience preferred
