Essentra is currently seeking an Internal Communications Specialist to join our team!

This individual will play an important role in the support and execution of Essentra’s communication strategy. As the Internal Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for the creation, management, and execution of credible, timely and engaging content for use in a variety of internal communication channels in the AMERS region.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Creation of reactive and proactive internal employee communications, ensuring they are on brand and in line with group corporate messaging. 
  • Tailoring content for use in different and numerous channels, for example the intranet, newsletters and digital signage. 
  • Assistance in the management and facilitation of the internal communications cascade for example through appropriate distribution lists and communications protocols. 
  • Support in the roll out of key internal events for example town halls, primarily through the creation and management of content. 
  • Develop communications consistency through Brand and tone of voice guidelines bringing our 6 principles to life. 
  • Develop and implement a diverse and inclusive mind set with reference to communications methods and strategies, ensuring the solutions are appropriate and sensitive.

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field 
  • 2+ years of experience and demonstrated success 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with strong proofreading proficiency 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills 
  • Self-starter and independent worker 
  • Creative thinking and innovative approach to communications 
  • Flexible and positive approach to change
