The Junior Graphic Designer will assist in creation of brand collateral and in-store graphics.

This role will possess the ability and interest to execute, organize and document creative concepts, brand assets and guidelines, store elevations and other technical design execution specifics.

This position will be responsible for creating concepts, brand assets, store signages and design/presentation decks and other necessary formats based on creative direction that supports the company brand identity, strategy, major drive periods, promotional offers and exclusive campaigns.

Key Responsibilities (Design and Production):

This is a hands-on design job where you will be called upon to create and produce finished, high-quality work under tight deadlines. You will be producing creative material in a fast-moving daily design and production environment. Design skills are primary, but good understanding of production is also required.

  • High level skills in design, production and presentation software required, such as: Adobe CS (In-Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Bridge), PowerPoint and Keynote. 
  • Knowledge of design principles; graphic design, layout, typography, color, and ability to translate corporate identity and brand into digital and print executions. 
  • Ability to prepare files from design drafts to final; including but not limited to some color correcting, retouching, resizing, etc.
  • Ability to prepare and manage presentation/concept/kit of parts decks under direction of Brand Director, Creative Directors or Designers. 
  • Ability to communicate clearly to describe reasoning behind concepts and keep team members up to date on project status.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Graphic Design + 1 year of experience in a design agency or in-house design team – OR– Associate degree in Graphic Design + 3 years of experience in a design agency or in-house design team 
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator) 
  • Intermediate proficiency in PowerPoint 
  • Intermediate understanding of print and digital production (able to create final print-ready assets and digital execution-ready assets) 
  • Available for typical 8-5pm workdays

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic proficiency in After Effects 
  • Proficiency in sketching to communicate ideas 
  • Basic illustration ability
