SCOPE OF ROLE:

The Financial Health Network is seeking a Manager, Membership Marketing, with strong experience managing and executing critical marketing and communications activities to ensure the success of Financial Health Network’s membership services. The Manager, Membership Marketing will report to the Sr. Director of Membership, and will be a key member of the organization’s growing Marketing Communications team, based in Chicago.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sets the vision and strategy for member-specific marketing initiatives across all channels, including web, email, social and digital and in-person events. 
  • Be the Voice of the Customer by driving and managing our key member feedback channels including our Member Advisory Committee, annual and bi-annual surveys, and direct feedback. 
  • Thoughtfully design and oversee relevant marketing metrics that will inform future planning.
  • Synthesize data, feedback, and insights from diverse sources to establish member preferences and drive delivery of member expectations. 
  • Own all member benefit-engagement metrics and understand when and how to select tactics for improving benefit usage rates and associated outcomes. 
  • Communicate and influence at all levels within and outside of the organization 
  • Manage the day-to-day content calendar for all member communications including coordinating the editorial calendar, researching and directing copy, and approving implementation by the Marcom operational team. 
  • Support in-person and digital event coordination including but not limited to informing content and managing recruitment for our annual Member Summit event. 
  • Assist with other projects as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A passion for improving the financial health of Americans. 
  • 5-10 years of integrated marketing experience, with a background in member marketing, content development, audience/list management, digital content management, and/or lifecycle marketing management. 
  • Association/member marketing experience strongly preferred. 
  • Financial services, fintech and/or entrepreneurial experience a plus. 
  • Strong ability to analyze material and summarize conclusions verbally and in writing 
  • Strong understanding of digital delivery methods and associated software including CRM, website and email software 
  • Exposure to and interest in several areas of marketing, including: B2B marketing and customer relationship management (CRM), dynamic and interactive online network-building including email marketing, content marketing, inbound marketing and event management
  • Superior organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail. 
  • High degree of flexibility with an ability to work in an innovative, fast-paced environment. 
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
