Marketing Analytics Specialist

The Marketing Analytics Specialist is responsible for tracking, reporting and analyzing the performance of marketing activities across channels in a way that improves collaborative decision-making across the client development department. The position also helps maintain data integrity across platforms to support key client development strategies. The Marketing Analytics Specialist works closely with a team of marketing communications and client development professionals and must be able to interact successfully with all levels within the firm. The position requires confidentiality of personnel and Firm matters.

Essential job functions include:

  • Produce meaningful marketing KPI dashboards and deliver cross-channel performance reports with actionable insights
  • Determine KPI/benchmarks, collect and analyze data, present trends and report on campaign success.
  • Implement tracking into various marketing initiatives.
  • Design relationship and conversion optimization strategies, with the aim of improving efficiency in the marketing department and increasing ROI.
  • Analyze online user behavior, relationship data, conversion data, client journeys, funnel analysis and multi-channel attribution.
  • Develop and maintain reporting processes and procedures, automating where possible.
  • Run ad-hoc reports and analysis as needed.
  • Spot opportunities and recommend innovative methodologies to improve the analytical procedure.
  • Work daily with analytic software, tools and resources.
  • Troubleshoot issues that affect tracking, execution or reporting.
  • Assist with efforts to ensure quality, prioritization and integration of data across platforms, including CRM, email marketing tool and website.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field required, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Statistics or Economics.
  • Three to five years of marketing analytics or related experience.
  • Experience working with large datasets using PowerBI development tools as a creator or member role. Other data analysis tools such as Excel (pivot tables, VB scripting) etc also required.
  • Advanced analytical and statistical modeling skills including the ability to provide data mining solutions to complex and diverse marketing, client management and business relations.
  • Expert experience in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Proven experience/knowledge of CRM, email, website CMS and Marketing Automation Tools.
  • Must have experience working with campaign tracking for URLs using Google UTM and similar tools.
  • Working knowledge of how to use A/B or MVT landing page testing to optimize campaigns and lead generation.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint) required.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Articulate understanding of necessary marketing, lead generation, and advertising principles.
  • Ability to communicate analytics principles and findings effectively to stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
