The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is seeking to fill a full-time vacancy for a Marketing Manager that will support the Peck School of the Arts and School of Architecture and Urban Planning.

This position performs a wide range of duties and serves as the marketing communications lead for UW-Milwaukee’s Peck School of the Arts and School of Architecture and Urban Planning. The incumbent will ensure a proactive marketing communications strategy to advance the brand, recruitment and unique goals of each school. Planning and project management, integrated marketing communications, writing support and collaboration with faculty and teams are an essential part of this position.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field
  • Progressively responsible experience/growth in marketing, communications, public relations and/or journalism

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, exercise sound judgment and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic marketing plans to achieve organizational goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines. Demonstrated ability to create and manage budgets.
  • Demonstrated excellence in writing.
  • Experience in community outreach and/or building strategic relationships.
  • Experience working with Wordpress or a similar content management system to update websites.
  • Experience working withHTMLemail systems (such as Emma, Constant Contact, etc).
