metroConnections, Inc. is seeking an experienced and strategic thinking professional for its Marketing & Public Relations Manager. In this highly dynamic and cross functional role, the Marketing & PR Manager drives its marketing, branding and public relations for all Service Centers.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain a strategic direction while creating, implementing and measuring a comprehensive marketing and public relations program that enhances the Organization’s position, and product awareness, within the marketplace 
  • Accountable for tying marketing programs to lead generating actions contributing to sales growth 
  • Develop short and long-term budgets for marketing/public relations programs, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance 
  • Responsible for managing a team consisting of multiple vendors and two staff to efficiently execute marketing projects according to strategic plan and deadlines 
  • Collaborate with sales team on sales tools, presentations and proposals to ensure effective strategies are utilized to create consistent branding and messaging 
  • Ensure evaluation systems are in place related to goals and objectives and report progress to ownership 
  • Ensure articulation and consistent use of the Company’s brand 
  • Responsible for project management and execution of all editorial direction, design, production and distribution of all marketing materials and public relation efforts. 
  • Coordinate media interest for the metroConnections’ public relations; ensure regular contact with target media and respond to media requests. 
  • Act as the Organization’s representative with the media 
  • Maintain, update metroConnections Web Presence & Search Engine Optimization (SEO) 
  • Oversee customer relationship management system (CRM) 
  • Leads projects as assigned, such as cause-related marketing and special events

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in business, marketing or an equivalent field 
  • 3-5 years of relevant marketing experience 
  • Strong customer focus, with the ability to translate product attributes into tangible customer benefits 
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills; team player that is able to work well across all departmental teams. 
  • Ability to efficiently multi-task 
  • Possess excellent computer skills with proficiencies in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office products, Constant Contact and Expression Engines (or other online content management systems)
