Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the coordination and implementation of JCFS’s brand launch marketing activities. 
  • Contributes to the development and execution of agency promotional materials including, but not limited to, brochures, flyers, advertising campaigns, e-newsletters, websites, social media and newsletters. 
  • Supports marketing team with editing and proofreading materials for accuracy, consistency, clarity and style. 
  • Develops and maintains Chicago media directory. 
  • Provides support for marketing and development special events. 
  • Represents JCFS and its programs in a positive manner to both internal and external contacts, along with demonstrated understanding of agency mission.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, advertising or journalism. 
  • 2+ years of work experience in marketing or communications field. 
  • Creative, organized and enthusiastic with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-changing environment. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills, and problem-solving abilities. 
  • A high level of attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently. 
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously while delivering accurate results within deadlines. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Constant Contact email delivery system and Drupal website content management system preferred.
