The Marketing Associate (MA) will be a key participant in planning and implementation of Promotions & PR plans across select brands within RTE cereal. Reporting to the Associate Director, this position is responsible for leading plan development and execution within this function.

The Marketing Associate role within Post Consumer Brands offers an exciting opportunity to hone marketing skills and drive volume growth by identifying and delivering on compelling consumer and customer needs. This role may develop into a long-term marketing career of increasing responsibility or it could also lead to new and exciting experiences within a number of work functions within Post Consumer Brands.

  • Develop agile & efficient Promotions, PR & Influencer plans and opportunities for the brands, ensuring that plans ladder to a larger Brand/PCB strategy. 
  • Be the main point of contact for a select group of brands with these functions internally and externally with vendors, and project manage plan development and execution. 
  • Equip all plans/executions with clear and measurable KPI’s and synthesize/analyze program results. 
  • Closely manage budget and mitigate risk associated with over/under redemption. 
  • Track competitive activity and trends on a monthly and quarterly basis, and extrapolate key learnings and considerations. 
  • Additional projects as assigned, for example develop opportunities for National Sampling and Sweepstakes capabilities.

This marketing opportunity will require the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, multi-task, and keeping various projects on track. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, will be required to keep other functional areas apprised of and engaged in team’s initiatives. The position requires an ability to proactively anticipate obstacles and the flexibility to seek alternative solutions to keep projects on track. The ability to analyze information to draw insights and conclusions and make tactical business decisions is essential.
