The Marketing Automation Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of Graco’s enterprise marketing automation platform. They will work with the digital strategy teams to execute and maintain programs that are designed to improve customer experience, increase marketing efficiency, shorten sales cycles and deliver high-quality leads to the sales teams around the world. This role will be responsible maintaining the data quality of Graco’s global marketing database and developing insightful reporting at the business and corporate level to illustrate business impact of marketing efforts and identify improvements in processes.

Essential Duties:

  • Serve as enterprise-wide expert on marketing automation and Marketo 
  • Work with divisional/regional marketing teams to implement solutions (templates, landing pages, campaign flows, dashboards, etc.) 
  • Coordinate and conduct training with divisional/regional marketing teams 
  • Keep system users informed about system functionality and enhancements 
  • Provide system users with technical support 
  • Design and manage ongoing configuration/enhancement of the system to support corporate goals and initiatives 
  • Assist divisions in the development of segmentation, profiles, lead scoring and nurture campaigns 
  • Develop reporting and dashboards at the business and corporate level to illustrate marketing contribution to revenue (pipeline, opportunities, revenue) 
  • Develop and execute testing programs for continual optimization 
  • Work with the CRM team to manage the integration between Marketo and Salesforce 
  • Work with the Web team to manage the integration between Marketo and Adobe AEM 
  • Maintain data quality for global marketing database 
  • Facilitate cross-divisional/regional exchange of experiences and best practices to accelerate marketing maturity across Graco businesses 
  • Perform platform maintenance and administrative tasks 
  • Review, prioritize and implement revisions and updates to software 
  • Facilitate and support testing of new features in alignment with team requirements 
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation including technical designs, project plans, workflows and training documents

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field. 
  • Master’s degree desirable.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in supporting Marketing teams with digital technologies, B2B experience preferred 
  • Strong understanding of marketing processes 
  • Experience working with external vendors/partners to configure/develop software applications 
  • Experience with presenting to a variety of audiences – senior executives, technical experts, non-technical team members and other groups. 
  • Strong understanding of Marketing Automation and CRM best practices 
  • Experience with Marketo required 
  • Experience with Salesforce.com preferred 
  • Manufacturing experience a plus

Skills/Abilities/Competencies:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Excellent analytical, research, editing and organizational skills, with a high level of attention to detail 
  • Experience with digital sales and marketing tools (CRM, Marketing Automation, Social Media, Email Marketing Platforms, etc.) 
  • Ability to establish, communicate and achieve agreed upon goals with limited supervision 
  • Able to handle time-sensitive requests from multiple team members, across time zones, and to generate quality work product in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to handle multiple projects efficiently, to work under pressure and solve problems quickly and effectively 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; a confident, professional manner that will come across easily and effectively with the organization’s most senior employees and staff
