Marketing Communications Intern

Duties:

  • Research and write stories 
  • Update blog content 
  • Post to social media accounts 
  • Assist in minor graphic design elements, including updating forms and materials 
  • Assist with Copyediting/proofing of College materials 
  • Update website 
  • Provide project assistance 
  • Provide support to Marketing Department

Educational Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in and pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or a similar field 
  • Must have completed at least two years of a four-year degree 
  • Minimum grade point average of 2.5 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 
  • Experience preferred in Adobe Creative Cloud 
  • Strong writing and grammar skills 
  • Enjoys working collaboratively in a team environment 
  • Comfortable interviewing faculty and students for story purposes 
  • Must be able to commit a minimum of 15-20 hours per week.

Compensation & Hours: $15/hour, 20 hours/week

Duration: October/November 2018 - May 2019
