Eaton’s Marketing Commercial Operations is currently seeking a Power Systems Division Marketing Communications Manager to join our team.This position will be based in Waukesha, WI or a home office.

The marketing communications manager will lead the strategy, development, execution and measurement of all marketing communications activities, both digital and traditional, for advanced utility-grade voltage transformation, regulation and grid automation solutions – including apparatus, devices and software – with an emphasis on the electric utility market. The successful candidate will work closely with the Brightlayer Utilitiessuite team on integrated marketing communications plans to support our Brightlayer digital foundation. Critical to the success of this position is the ability to build productive and professional relationships with product and segment marketing; sales; other marketing communications professionals and creative agencies to achieve objectives. 

In this function you will: 

  • Provides strategic leadership to create results-oriented, integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, preference and demand aligned with growth programs
  • Creates value-driven messaging, content marketing strategies and measurable outreach programs that resonate with key target audiences at all stages of the sales funnel
  • Determines the most effective mix of customer-facing events, public and media relations, thought leadership initiatives, social media, digital tools, lead generation and lead nurturing activities
  • Manages the product launch process and continues to promote those products as part of a larger offering through audience-focused content and campaigns
  • Expertly utilizes the marketing technology (martech) stack for project management, execution and measurement
  • Uses analytics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, digital content and events, both virtual and in-person, and turns metrics into actionable insights for continuous improvement
  • Identifies and leverages cross-business promotional opportunities
  • Develops annual marketing communications plans defining strategies, tactics, timelines and budget requirements
  • Understands all aspects of Eaton’s brand promise, attributes and standards, and accurately represents Eaton in written and verbal communications to position Eaton as a leading power management company
  • Effectively manages budget allocations; provides accurate forecasts; processes, tracks and reconciles supplier invoices
  • Manages supplier relationships

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in B-to-B marketing, digital marketing or communications
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future 
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.

Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience andconsistent with internal and external market practices. The annual salary range for this role is $101,360 - $139,370 a year.
