Jessup Manufacturing is seeking a Marketing Communications Manager who is responsible for creating effective, integrated customer and product brand communications for all Jessup brands.

Responsibilities include researching customer personas, developing strategy-based online and offline content, and managing the communications plan. The scope includes websites, social media, print literature, email marketing, advertising, packaging, trade show exhibits, customer events and other forms of customer contact and messaging. Form key partnerships with Product Management and Sales to create a positive branded customer experience and generate qualified sales leads. The Manager of Marketing Communications provides leadership on integrated communications and is accountable for the efficient and effective management of the marketing mix and use of the marketing communications budget.

  • Research and profile customer buyer personas to achieve effective connections with audiences. 
  • Develop marketing communications plans for target customer segments. 
  • Select media and develop communication messages. 
  • Select and manage outside suppliers as needed. 
  • Support the launch of new products with integrated communications. 
  • Enhance website functionality and experience as needed. 
  • Plan and manage website and social media content stream, including product information, company information, blogs, posts, social media customer conversations and surveys. 
  • Develop product and market literature in downloadable and print forms, with samples. 
  • Produce corporate, product and application videos. 
  • Create customer presentations for use by the sales team. 
  • Support communication needs of distributor partners and participate in cooperative marketing as needed. 
  • Plan and manage all trade shows, including exhibits, speaking engagements, new product showcase, pre-show promotions, live show updates, and post-show lead fulfillment. 
  • Plan and manage all group customer hospitality events, including venues, menus, entertainment, invitations and other details. 
  • Plan and manage news releases and press events, and collaborate with journalists and bloggers to promote products and case histories.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field. 
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a marketing communications 
  • Outstanding knowledge of business-to-business communications. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Strong program planning, project management and team leadership skills. 
  • Ability to think strategically and tactically. 
  • Ability to develop strong, collaborative relationships with Product Management, Sales, Customer Service, Human Resources, and senior executives. 
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively. 
  • Strong business acumen and financial skills. 
  • Ability to travel within the U.S. to customers and customer events.
