We’re looking to hire several talented Marketing Communications Writers to join Anthem’s Medicare and Medicaid in-house creative team. The ideal candidates will be detail-oriented and able to handle a variety of projects, and a fluctuating volume of work with acute attention to detail. They’ll work on every consumer touchpoint in relation to the member experience, ensuring our empathetic and human brand voice comes through. They’ll assure materials meet various internal, external, and specific state requirements. They’ll be able to work independently and efficiently while meeting deadlines.

Primary duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Researching, writing, editing, and reviewing content for traditionally printed programs (marketing collateral, trade publication advertising, direct mail, member materials such as letters and handbooks) and digital programs (online advertising, microsites, text campaigns, etc.)
  • Ensures all materials meet internal and external business and legal standards, and follows appropriate corporate standards, guidelines, and approval processes.
  • Identifies improvements/efficiencies that support operational excellence, and supports business initiatives (plain language, standardization, going paperless, etc.)
  • Requires a BA/BS degree; 3 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Experience in health care or managed care preferred. Or experience in other highly-regulated industries welcome.
