Project Management Advisors, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator to join our team in the Chicago Corporate office. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with other members of the Corporate Marketing Team, collaborating with project and administrative staff throughout the company and reporting to the leader of marketing operations in support of marketing and business development activities.

The ideal candidate must have experience in a multi-faceted marketing and business development support role with strong writing and problem-solving skills. Candidate is an attentive listener that learns quickly, is energized working as part of a team, self-disciplined working independently and efficient under pressure in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment. Role provides the ability to contribute to the success of the Corporate Marketing Team with opportunities for growth, training, and development.

Specific duties include (but not limited to):

  • Develop and/or edit written materials including staff resumes, project descriptions and proposal language 
  • Update company website and intranet 
  • Coordinate and produce written proposal responses and interview/presentation materials 
  • Maintain and produce credential materials including project sheets, resumes, qualification packages and sample deliverables 
  • Assist with coordination of project and staff photo shoot 
  • Coordinate and produce artwork and copy for direct mail campaigns, social media and print/web publications 
  • Maintain and update marketing database of project and contact information 
  • Maintain and update opportunity tracking database 
  • Coordinate calendar of networking events and support seasonal campus recruiting program 
  • Assist with planning and coordination of special events 
  • Assist with coordination of annual company-wide gift program 
  • Conduct industry and prospective client research 
  • Manage inventory of BD Materials and supplies 
  • Produce scheduled and ad-hoc reporting, perform other administrative tasks as needed

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field 
  • Two to five years of full-time work experience (experience with an AEC or related firm a plus) 
  • Strong multi-tasking skills with experience managing competing priorities 
  • Highly organized and self-motivated 
  • Outstanding writing and editing skills (grammar, spelling, conciseness, etc.) 
  • Good graphic sensitivity and eye for detail 
  • Experience with CRM, knowledge management portals and online collaboration tools 
  • Graphics software skills including Adobe CS applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) 
  • Strong technical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 
  • Works well under tight deadlines and performs consistently under pressure 
  • Flexible and highly reliable
