Job Details:

The Marketing Director, Consulting (North America) is responsible for leading the overall marketing strategy for the Consulting Brand & Marketing offer within the region and collaborating with regional and global marketers for other Consulting products. The role will serve as part of the leadership team for the Consulting B&M offer, drive marketing planning and execution across the domain, and serve as the lead marketing contact for the domain’s product and commercial team.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing plans for all relevant products, supporting brand awareness, product launches, demand generation and sales enablement 
  • Drive demand generation for the domain, including planning and executing paid search, paid social and other demand gen campaigns and collaborating with the broader marketing team on researching and implementing tools to make prospecting more efficient and effective 
  • Collaborate with the domain product and commercial teams on messaging, collateral and thought leadership 
  • Manage and execute a full calendar of campaigns including webinars, email marketing, search/social advertising, event sponsorships and more 
  • Provide input into NA budgeting processes and manage any divisional budgets that are dedicated to specific offers/products 
  • Represent the NA region’s needs and priorities with global Insights marketing leadership teams and collaborate on global marketing projects as needed 
  • Generate all needed status and results reporting for the region and the relevant divisional teams 
  • Drive client communications efforts, including product updates, newsletters and more

Personal characteristics and skills:

  • Experience in leading and driving marketing programs with strong client focus 
  • Strong client focus with proven ability to develop C-level relationships 
  • Experienced in direct and indirect people leadership with proven ability to drive success through others 
  • Experienced in building relationships and gaining credibility quickly with stakeholders in order to achieve consensus 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence through fact based persuasion 
  • Excellent communication skills with sound experience of operating in multi-market, matrix environment. 
  • Persuasive, compelling and decisive whilst being culturally sensitive and astute

Experience:

  • 10+ years’ experience in marketing roles 
  • Direct experience with CRM (Salesforce) and marketing automation tools (Hubspot/Pardot) 
  • Experience with web content management tools such as Sitecore preferred 
  • Experience in the media, market research, information, communications or professional services sectors is preferred

Qualifications:

  • Degree or degree equivalent 
  • Fluency in English – verbal and written. Additional languages are always helpful.
