POSITION SUMMARY:

We seek a collaborative, enthusiastic and entrepreneurial Marketing Generalist with strong time and marketing experience to join and support our growing marketing team. The successful candidate will provide marketing support to the team of marketing coordinators and assistance to senior and technical teams, the Director of Business Development & Marketing, the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Communications Manager, the Manager of Creative Services and other members of the organization as we expand our growing, global practice. The Marketing Generalist will report to the Marketing Manager.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide marketing and proposal support for domestic and Latin America markets 
  • Create and help coordinate qualification statements, proposals and other marketing collateral 
  • Assist in formatting presentations (PowerPoint) and qualifications packages for new business opportunities 
  • Prepare and write marketing qualification copy and edit technical responses for proposals 
  • Develop and design graphics and infographics to support client submittals and marketing materials. 
  • Support the organization of resumes and proposal content for inclusion in all aspects of marketing submissions in collaboration with technical and marketing team members 
  • Maintain and track opportunities, project history information and professional resumes and certifications of technical staff in company database 
  • Support marketing and promotional initiatives, including marketing collateral, professional conferences, client events, maintencance of firm boilerplate information for proposals, marketing communications, and a promotional series of webinars. 
  • Support other departments and company-wide initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field 
  • Experience: Ideal entry-level to 3 years related experience in marketing or proposal development. Previous experience in the architectural/engineering/construction industry or a professional services firm is preferred.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills 
  • Must have high quality attention to detail with strong focus on producing quality deliverables consistent with company brand standards 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team, build relationships and work effectively at all levels of an organization including with technical staff 
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment including having strong organizational and time management skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required 
  • Experience in InDesign, Photoshop and Powerpoint is preferred 
  • Conscientious and flexible with a strong work ethic and a team player attitude
