Coloplast has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager, Media Strategy & Activation, to join our growing North American team.

As the Marketing Manager, Media Strategy and Activation, reporting into the Director of Consumer Acquisition, you will oversee the paid media needs for the Coloplast and Comfort Medical business, with an emphasis on digital (80%). In this role, your primary responsibility will be to partner with the Digital Media Activation team at headquarters (Denmark) and product marketing in US on paid media planning and execution.

The Digital Media Activation team is responsible for executing paid media campaigns across the entire global organization. Within the US, you will function as a strategic expert responsible for media spending strategy development and management, with the goal of new consumer acquisition. You will partner with product marketing to build media spending strategy which reflects our commercial priorities, develop media plan, ensure on-going performance optimization, and maximize the return of our Media spend investment.

Major Areas of Accountability:

  • Work in partnership with the Product Marketing teams to define and develop the paid media strategy for new consumer acquisition. 
  • Responsible for daily reporting and management of the media strategy, identifying opportunities for optimization or new paid media execution through spending attribution across channels. 
  • Lead the development of the organic social media strategy and support the execution related to Continence Care & Ostomy Care for Coloplast US, ensuring strategic success and providing guidance for the Social Media Associate Manager who executes the strategy. 
  • Guide stakeholders and specialists to succeed with paid media across our Global Marketing teams, Inside Sales, and U.S. Product Marketing and Consumer facing teams. 
  • Execute cross-channel digital and offline campaigns in close collaboration with our Marketing and customer-facing teams, while leading the charge to continuously expand our sophistication of customer segmentation. 
  • Secure campaign effectiveness (conversion rates, user experience, performance against KPIs, etc.) and create learning loops to continuously improve media activities. 
  • Participate, project manage and promote new digital tools and website features in cooperation with the head of digital solutions, suppliers, partners, Marketing and Customer facing teams. 
  • Oversee and drive strategic opportunities related to offline channels: newspaper, magazine, sponsorships, events, list buying and more. 
  • Other tasks as assigned

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. 
  • 5+ years of relevant experience working in/with online savvy global or national companies, preferably combined with consultancy experience. 
  • Demonstrable experience in managing and optimizing SEO/SEM, email marketing set up and automation, social media, and website management. 
  • Offline media experience a plus. 
  • Strong project management skills; can handle and oversee multiple complex projects simultaneously. 
  • A strong business understanding, including strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • A passion to make a difference, and to take Consumer Acquisitions to the next level.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, salesforce.com experience preferred. 
  • Ability to travel 10-15%
