We are seeking a Marketing Manager to lead the F&B North America Protein Segment. This segment generates ~$70M annual revenue and it is expected to be one of the main sources of growth for the division.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute short term, annual and multi-year Business Strategies to achieve sales and profit targets for Protein segment 
  • Work closely with Corporate Account and Field Teams to develop and implement customer-specific strategies 
  • Participate in ongoing customer interactions that contribute to business insights and results 
  • Identify and capture customer problems and opportunities. Leverage those to develop short-term and long-term new product development strategies 
  • Develop innovative solutions and strategies in response to customer needs, competitive offerings and changes in market and business priorities 
  • Lead new product launches including target customer selection, value proposition development and pricing 
  • Lead and develop a high performing business team, including development of ongoing business reviews, ensuring alignment to segment priorities, strategy execution, cross functional collaboration and team development

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 5- 7+ years of work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA in Marketing 
  • Experience in Food/Protein Industry in a technical, sales or marketing role 
  • Experience in developing and presenting segment strategies to sales teams and divisional management 
  • Ability to relate to influential people and complex organizational structures; strong interpersonal and relationship building skills 
  • Knowledge of protein processors and/ or experience with their corporate or plant level decision makers 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization 
  • Experience in developing and launching new products/services 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills; setting vision and strategy, planning, critical thinking, orchestrating cross-functionally, overseeing multiple project elements and proven track record of results 
  • Solid financial management skills, market sizing, market research experience.
