Marketing Manager

Beacon Funding is looking for a highly driven, versatile, and creative Marketing Manager to help manage day-to-day marketing operations. This role will report to the President and will be working alongside a small team on a variety of initiatives including multi-channel campaign management via an automated marketing platform, content development and distribution, internal and external communications, and trade-show coordination.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with the team to generate high quality marketing activity with comprehensive strategies targeting an extensive database of clients, prospects, and vendors 
  • Define the appropriate channel mix, campaign messaging, and segments 
  • Oversee marketing campaign projects ensuring deliverables are delivered on-time, on budget,and meet all necessary requirements 
  • Monitor, track, and document campaign results; analyze data/returns/customer response 
  • Serve as brand champion, ensuring that all communications adhere to brand guidelines 
  • Supervise, manage and develop a small team of marketers 
  • Assist in the growth and maintenance of our marketing database and prospect records 
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders to gather content and incorporate feedback throughout the development of materials 
  • Work with the marketing team to streamline production processes, evaluate tools and make proactive enhancements 
  • Cultivate and integrate new ideas and campaigns that align with current and future sales goals

Job Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of previous B2B experience as a marketing manager, strategist, or related marketing experience 
  • Proven success in Direct Response or Database Marketing 
  • Experience with an automated marketing platform is preferred 
  • Experience preparing and presenting quarterly goals and forecasts for future projects 
  • Strong leadership, planning, and execution skills; ability to manage and lead marketing team 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Keen attention to detail with ability 
  • Strong organizational skills and able to manage multiple projects; experience in an agile environment a plus 
  • Experience with Project Management tools such as Asana, MS Project, or JIRA preferred 
  • Experience with Google Analytics and content management systems a plus 
  • Experience with Microsoft CRM a plus 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) 
  • Positive disposition and enjoys spreading the good vibes 
  • Marketing-related degree
