Marketing Operations Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned):

Product Marketing -

  • Develop sales tools including data sheets, presentations, videos, case studies, catalogs, white papers, tips and tools, press releases, brochures, competitive matrices, tradeshow banners. 
  • Develop product positioning and messaging, value proposition of the products. 
  • Create and implement sales tools for partners, both at new product launch and ongoing. 
  • Maintain library of product images, graphics, stock assets. 
  • Partner with regional sales leaders to create, launch and manage sales promotions. 
  • With product management, develop/maintain price lists, with a focus on accuracy. 
  • Develop and implement messaging for full product life cycle. 
  • Communicate with senior management about marketing initiatives and project metrics, as well as to brainstorm fresh strategies. 
  • Manage sales and leadership meetings, agendas, awards, logistics.

Online Marketing -

  • Critical to this job is collaborating with Associate Communications Manager for maintaining the detailed content structure that supports the multi-site, multi-language website, as well as the catalogs that support the Webshops and Sales Portals. Attention to details and tight controls will ensure success. 
  • Manage company website ( to ensure products are accurately presented to the market in each region and language. Produce valuable and engaging content, implement SEO best practices. 
  • Drive Sales Portal catalogs and functionality for Americas and EMEA, securing partner orders through automated Sales Portals. 
  • Support Webshop catalogs and functionality for Americas and EMEA, for end user orders. 
  • Develop and drive digital marketing and analytics. 
  • Improve site experiences by analyzing web data, customer needs, and business goals, contributing to forward-thinking strategies.

Product Development - 

  • Participate on new product core team, defining product requirements and providing supporting research and feedback. 
  • Support engineering with new or revised technical documents including files for labels, badging, packaging, etc. Recommend product naming. 
  • With product management, write/edit/update product documentation including User Guides, Setup & Installation Guides, Service Manuals, etc. 
  • Gather and Analyze market and customer information to develop forward looking strategies that meet changing technologies and demand. 
  • Work with external vendor or internal resources for translation to Spanish, German, French, Chinese, Japanese. 
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all marketing tools to meet new product launch dates.

Essential Education, Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience with at least 2 years’ experience in a field facing role; high-tech hardware or software preferred.
  • BA in Business, Marketing or related field; MBA preferred
  • Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent people, negotiating and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties.
  • Experienced, hands-on professional with a history of success in managing projects, products and services to budget.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking mindset
  • Outstanding writer, excellent proofreader.
  • Killer attention to detail, willing to roll up the sleeves and jump in.
  • Experience in digital marketing and website management preferred.
  • Global marketing experience is a plus.
