We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Project Specialist who will work closely with Marketing Team Leaders to develop and deploy Delta Defense’s marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, engagement, leads, and sales.

The Project Specialist will enjoy working in a fast-paced, exciting work environment while still being able to meet important deadlines with quality output. The Project Specialist will be responsible for projects meeting these important deadlines while ensuring coordinating team members are in sync with the project deadlines as well.

  • Work with a group of Team Leaders to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive Delta Defense’s main sources of revenue, specifically through Email/ Promotions, PPC (Google, YouTube, Facebook), Organic Facebook & YouTube, Natural Search/SEO/Website Optimization.
  • This role will lead the execution of the work related to Email and Promotions but work closely with the other teams. This role will require coordinating design, copy, IT and BI team members, working with attorneys and outside companies to coordinate legal requirements for promotions, etc. 
  • Coordinate product ideas for promotion, sale, and giveaway. Work with fulfillment team to source products that satisfy both marketing team’s need to have products that people want and are financially viable and the content team’s need to ensure we sell product that they would put their name on! Coordinate purchase and delivery timing with preparation to sell the product digitally. 
  • Coordinate digital content (videos, blogs, etc) for all traffic teams to ensure all content is being utilized on each platform and the best performing content is optimized and maximized. 
  • Executing or leading the execution of the collection of data, stats, and KPI’s using them to make informed future marketing decisions. 
  • Building-out, assigning, coordinating, following-up with team members to ensure project deadlines are met. 
  • Managing and assisting with team strategy, split-testing, and implementation of tasks 
  • Managing many different platforms at the same time without missing any key steps. 
  • Willingness to enthusiastically accept many varied projects and new responsibilities as assigned. 
  • Managing the growth of the marketing team so that it continues to be efficient in production and execution of all tasks. 
  • Manage and guide the team’s ideas into applicable and effective marketing strategies

Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing is preferred 
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in a progressive marketing role 
  • Be a self-starter, have high standards and be able to work independently and on a team to meet deadlines
  • Proven time management skills in deadline-driven work 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to draw conclusions and make solid recommendations - understand how to interpret reports, data, and results into actionable suggestions that will form the future of the company’s marketing efforts 
  • Love attention to detail and provide meticulous records of their processes 
  • Be able to handle many projects without decreasing efficiency nor decreasing quality 
  • Highly organized 
  • Proficiency in Google Docs (especially spreadsheets), Google Analytics. Knowledge of Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Concrete5, VWO, Basecamp, Trello, and Google Search Console desired but not required. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with a wide variety of team members (creative, analytical, technical, customer service, finance, operations, etc.) 
  • Strong skills in developing and maintaining effective relationships 
  • The qualified candidate will be relied on by many people in the organization for marketing information. Must be willing to speak up and make sure that all possibilities are accounted for. 
  • Should be willing to put in the work needed for advancing and growing as an integral member of the marketing team.
