Position Summary:

As a Marketing Specialist, you’ll primarily be responsible for the implementation of marketing and communication tactics for the segment. You’ll work closely with your segment team as well as interact with sales, marketing services, development, and sourcing and operations to help implement marketing and communications programs and help measure the performance of planned marketing activities.

What You’ll Do and Impact:

  • Help drive the implementation and delivery of marketing plan tactics to support Segment business goals, measure their effectiveness, and make adjustments in response to changing business and marketing strategies. This position will take a digital-first perspective to our marketing efforts. 
  • Support the marketing segment in the development of marketing plan tactics designed to build market awareness, generate demand for solutions, enable the sales team processes, improve digital presence, and communicate with customers to increase satisfaction/retention. 
  • Work with marketing partners to create digital content & strategies, including web strategies, direct marketing, email marketing campaigns (lead generation and customer acquisition), blog posts, customer communications, and other digital touchpoints. 
  • Manage digital campaigns & projects and coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Digital and Creative teams in the development and delivery of marketing solutions to ensure timely completion of marketing projects under budgetary constraints. 
  • Organize and own digital assets & strategy documentation, with a focus on transformation to digital marketing materials, strategies, and tactics. 
  • Monitor and analyze marketing plan tactics results; provide insights to marketing leaders on revising tactics as needed to address new market learning, customer needs, competition, and changing business priorities.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business field 
  • 3-4 years of digital marketing experience 
  • Understanding of Voice-of-customer best practices; 
  • Growing familiarity with UX design 
  • Familiarity with and knowledge of Google Tag Manager 
  • Familiarity and knowledge of digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Pendo, Heap) 
  • Experience with email marketing strategy development and execution; knowledge of email marketing tools 
  • Experience and comfort with content management systems and updating web content 
  • Knowledge of project marketing methods and techniques to ensure the coordination of people (internal clients and external vendors) and processes to achieve desired outcomes; high degree of organization and resourcefulness 
  • Desire and ability to deeply understand customers and develop proactive insight on how to bring new value to them

Additional Items of Interest:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, focused on internal and external customers 
  • Understanding of marketing plan development, and ability to execute on marketing plan(s) tactics and schedules 
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with SEO, SEM, and social media marketing 
  • Experience in services marketing
