Job Family Summary:

Develops and implements the organization's multi-media strategies. Develops, executes, and manages media plans supporting the organization's marketing goals. Identifies appropriate media opportunities, negotiates contracts, and coordinates outreach to and manages relationships with media organizations.

Level Summary:

  • Requires working knowledge and experience in own job discipline and broadens capabilities 
  • Continues to build knowledge of the company, processes and customers 
  • Performs a range of assignments related to job discipline 
  • Uses prescribed guidelines or policies in analyzing situations 
  • Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Develops, implements, monitors and analyzes social media tactics within American Family’s owned social media channels. 
  • Interfaces with various divisions in the company to provide strategic leadership and spearheads social media marketing solutions for American Family's corporate voice and web properties. 
  • Ensures internal media strategy is both communicated and embraced by external partners. 
  • Aligns media plans with brand and consumer marketing strategies.

Travel Requirements:

  • This position requires travel up to 10% of the time.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service 
  • Demonstrated experience as a social media influencer. 
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting social quantitative and qualitative data. 
  • Demonstrated experience managing and implementing social media programs and initiatives. 
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of social media channels and competitive landscape. 
  • Experience running and analyzing paid social media campaigns.
