About The Position

Disrupt Idea Co. is looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial person with a desire to work in a start-up environment and lead new business development initiatives. This role will develop and execute a new business strategy, identify opportunities, prospect and initiate and maintain new partnerships.

  • Leverage existing contacts as well as proactively target and develop relationships with key industry prospects
  • Solicit, receive and answer RFIs and RFPs
  • Develop a deep understanding of Disrupt Idea’s capabilities and translate into a compelling vision to potential clients
  • Build an overall new business strategy including, but not limited to, developing qualified target lists specific to an organization’s unique selling points, strategies for initial contact and relationship-building and managing the new business pitch process for opportunities that result from new business efforts
  • Manage the new business process from start to finish (with production support from Disrupt creative resources); from RFI/RFP to building pitch teams to presentation: sales documentation, capabilities decks, pitch templates, proposals, and all related messaging
  • Identify and communicate innovative opportunities and trends to Disrupt Idea management for strategy modifications
  • Proven ability to win new business efforts on behalf of an agency, whether an official RFI/RFP process or through targeted relationship-building
  • Work style that includes: naturally ambitious, understanding direction and being able to mold it into a path forward; ability to anticipate and ask the right questions; remains organized in collaborative and fast-paced environment; enjoys the sales and relationship-building process
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that includes being able to adapt/translate an organization’s foundational materials/tools for unique new opportunities, ensuring collateral is appropriate and resonates with target’s expected needs
  • Must understand the agency RFI/RFP process and associated platforms/circuits that support it
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, marketing, advertising, communications or similar function
  • Candidate may work remotely and set their own schedule
