The New Product Development (NPD) Coordinator supports the Product Management team in all product development projects from concept to product launch by ensuring all shared documents are complete and accurate and that all samples are received and organized. The coordinator provides administrative support for the team and supports communications and presentation preparation as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Executes project work as assigned by team leader
  • NPD Project Files Administration
  • Assists in maintaining records of project activities with all documents readily accessible for review
  • Assists in scheduling meetings for NPD related topics
  • Interfaces with other departments to facilitate communication on projects
  • Research and monitors competitive products and maintain database
  • Assist Product Management Team as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by Director of Product Management

  • Two-year degree or an equivalent experience in product development for Consumer-Packaged Goods
  • 3 – 5 years of work experience
  • Highly organized and detail orientated
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Ability to handle confidential information and business documents in professional manner
  • Ability to work independently and ensure tasks are completed
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Active team player who can take direction but also willing to provide input and ideas
  • Efficient problem solver
  • Good organizational skills
