Kennedy Communications, a full-service Madison advertising agency, is looking to hire a Marketing Analyst. If you love using data to solve problems and answer business questions then this is the job for you. This individual will join our SEM team, gathering, analyzing and reporting upon large sets of data for a variety of regional and national accounts.

A successful candidate will have a curious mind that can translate numbers and charts into recommendations for improving our online presence. This person will also have experience using web metrics to draw conclusions about the impact of past marketing initiatives, both online and offline. They must be able to communicate these findings, insights and recommendations to various internal agency departments.

Responsibilities:

  • PPC Campaign and Website Maintenance: Updating budgets and delivery areas, keyword and ad changes, landing pages, tracking code implementation
  • PPC Reporting: PPC Campaign results, lead numbers, conversion rates and costs per lead, the effect of outside marketing efforts
  • PPC Planning: Recommending budgets, estimating campaign performance
  • Internal support: Answering questions about PPC data, leads, database content, client-facing software programs
  • Quality assurance for interactive reporting, website and database maintenance

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Knowledge of Google Adwords and Google Analytics
  • Proven analytical track record
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work well independently or as part of a team
  • Loves learning new methods, software, and technologies
  • Organized and exhibits strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Thrives in fast-paced, flexible environments
